Is there a credible evidence that wars (at global scale ) have increased under fiat standard verses before ( under gold standard )

Saying this cuz humans seems to be fighting ever since Alexander and Gengiz khan .. old classics be it Ramayana or Mhabharata .. or modern ones like LOTR or GOT .. are all about wars ..
