I've watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-T7tCMUDXU. Is this reasonably accurate or are his examples and analogues simplified for the video. His descriptions of charged water seems oversimplified and Im surprised that he didnt discuss the polar nature of water and/or dissociation of most compounds, which would indicate that yes some Loose H and O would be free as well as OH (hydroxide) groups, especially in the presence of impurities. I plan to look further into this but I am reminded what more than a few teachers have reminded me "extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof".
