I always considered myself conservative, but then I realised that’s because there seems to be no place for non-marxists on the left (at least in Europe).

Then I started actually thinking and admitted that I have some conservative beliefs, but that I’m unwilling to impose them on others, so in that respect I’m rather liberal. The more I think about it, the less the right/left conservative/progressive thing applies (at least to me).

The logical conclusion in my case is to be a libertarian: to respect the life project of others and demand that mine be respected, and the belief that voluntary association and capitalism lead to peace and prosperity.

I don’t give a shit how people want to live their lives, just don’t tread on me ;)
