"Malicious compliance" was my favourite in the Army. Most rules are stupid, and the most complex, top-down rule systems simply beg to be used against their bosses.

I do not ask you to lay hands on the tyrant to topple him over, but merely withdraw support and watch as he - like a great colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away - falls of his own weight and breaks into pieces.
