If you’re new and not sure how to set up lighting tips on your profile, you need Lighting Address or a LNURL, not a lightning invoice. Here’s the difference:

1) Lightning Address looks like an email address. For example, mine is corndalorian@ln.tips.

2) LNURL is a reusable code others can use to send you sats. You’ll recognize it because it begins with the letters “lnurl…” followed by a long string of characters.

3) Lightning invoices begin with “lnbc…” and are one time use ONLY. They also have an expiration. Don’t put these in your profile settings.
