I have been doing #Bitcoin things since 2017 and have seldom sold or spent any I have accumulated.

Even when I had to spend for a purchase I could not otherwise make such as buying ASICS from an overseas seller, I would always spend and replace.

If I was forced to sell at an inopportune time to cover electricity expenses, it was always painful.

Now I socialize on Nostr and find myself zapping sats to total strangers because they said something I found useful or just made be laugh or smile.

It turns out that “spending” my Bitcoin to show love and support for my Bitcoin / Nostr friends is the only use case where I feel good about parting with my hard earned sats.
