Using gold as an example, the top 2000 holders likely own more than 50% of the refined gold with almost 20% being held by central banks alone.

Golds wider adoption doesn't necessary mean its less concentrated and centralized.

Also, Bitcoin still isnt mature as an asset so there's plenty of distribution yet to come, which is great.

Do the math again, Bitcoin is BY FAR the most centralized supply

In a future when people use it as money it will get more descentrlized, but not rn

Im a bitcoiner, but facts are facts

You're putting way too much trust in a chat bot there

How does it arrive at these conclusions?

Where is a valid source for the claim that the top 2,000 holders "likely do not" control over 50% of refined gold?

Where is a valid source for the implication that the top 2% of holders own less than 70% of the gold?

You ignored both points though

Yeah, do you have eyes? do I have to prove that Real State supple is more descentralized than Bitcoin supply too? or can you just take a look and understand that TONS of people have houses and gold and it is not even close to btc supply centralization

2 % of Bitcoin wallets control ~71 % of the supply !!!

I would be surprised if 2% of gold holders controlled less than 71% of the supply

I'd also be surprised if the top 2,000 holders controlled less than 50%

Especially because I see someone making these claims with a chat bot to back it up and then changing the subject when called out on it

Prove It, send me the website with the gold supply

How would that website exist? Not everyone just trusts whatever chat bots say, some people care what's true or false in the real world

So… no proof, Im right, good

I didn't ask

You little baby got mad :( sorry friend

sorry friend

Looks like you screenshotted a chat bot again

Apologize to your actual friends who put up with you every day, I don't give a shit, I'm a stranger on the internet

I accept your apology

I didn't apologize to you for anything here

Use your brain please.

Gold is obviously more concentrated when you consider how widespread gold ownership is and how much is owned by central banks and private investors and I'm not even going to mention all the paper gold that gets traded by large firms.

Dont rely on a chat bot and use critical thinking, it might help a bit?

Again, do the math, Bitcoin supply is EXTREMLY more centralized, 2 % of Bitcoin wallets control 71 % of the supply, can you understand that? It is not even close to gold centralization

I used ChatGPT to show you that any rational AI will agree with me, sometimes critical thinking doesnt work if you cant do simple math

AGAIN: 2% of Bitcoin wallets control 71% of the supply!!! (and probably a lot of those wallets are own by the same person wich makes it even more centralized)
