You need to brush up on your Chomsky! Your categories are absurd.

Many of us are science- minded*, anti-GOP, pro-decentralization environmentalists who are working to re-wild our landscapes with regenerative approaches.

Your desire to put everyone into those two buckets is cutting you off from some real work that's happening in the world.

*not "settled" science or "consensus" of paid actors, but actual science

where in the world do you find these people? 😳

haha! I have a knack. Also nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj7ct4w35zumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcpzemhxue69uhhyetpd3ujumtvv44h2tnyv4mz7qpqq6ya7kz84rfnw6yjmg5kyttuplwpauv43a9ug3cajztx4g0v48eq42x98s re-posted some of his content

you actually have a really impressive ability for measured responses. inspiring even.

I'm convinced that most people have way way more in common than they realize and it breaks my heart to see us at each other's throats while policy makers lie and steal.

Also not too long ago I was in the "Republican = bad person" camp, so I have some karma to address.

I suspect that this Gerald guy is too far gone, but I've been surprised before

those motivations are noble and all, but imo, there’s an element of natural gifting in there that i find compelling.

the last time i took a well rounded personality profile test, i got a politeness score of 16%. πŸ˜‚ not a natural gift. seeing you in action is helpful and encouraging.

ha! that's interesting

Someone close to me got an "agreeable" score of 1% on a recent personality test. We were cracking up over that.

Yes - idk... I'm not particularly polite- apparently in work situations I have a reputation for being very direct- but I don't like conflict, and I tend to see things from the point of view of others (often to my detriment - has caused me to stay far too long in some relationships).
