sure a large entity is cool, but they'll be able to build a following no matter the platform or protocol.

i'm thinking bigger and and when i say bigger, in this case, i mean smaller. i would love to see small town mom and pop shops and family owned businesses using nostr. they may not be able to reach their local, target audiences, but they'll be able to signal to their community that they are utilizing decentralized and censorship resistance communication every time a customer visit's their other profiles or website. they'll be a beacon in their local community. as nostriches, we'll support them along their journey, welcoming their new customers to nostr, zapping their posts, and helping them build their local community here on nostr.

Why zaps from blockstream are lame!

🤙

I wouldn't say they're lame at all. It's a very unique way of advertising. They're first movers in this new paradigm.

What do you think of "local relays"?

IE a relay specific for a large shopping mall. All associated businees could take orders, they could use it to publish advertisements and offers, you could run internal management on it.

User could access content/interfaces while inside the local relay network as well.
