From my reading of the specs I could not find substantial differences or the need for a new fragmented โ€œstandardโ€ that is not standard ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

From my extremely plebeian understanding and skimming of the spec, that was kind of what I understood as well. But not really being a coder, there could be some key differences that I was missing.

I'm the same, I assume there is something I'm not understanding because otherwise there is no point in reinventing the wheel, NIP's bring us consistency and viability over time, it makes no sense to start a new 'standard' parallel to nostr for this.
