Wouldn't know what to follow. Just want to learn applied cryptography and figure out new ways to build relationships between data and numbers to do cool things. Are there normies talking about this?

Hard to tell but there's a community for everything. On reddit's golden age, even niche subs were very active.

idk, have a search for relevant hash-tags and dig around. if there isn't muhc content, start posting with the hashtags and eventually some people will pop up.
