The Nostr/Apple fight has and will bring light to Nostr AND to Apple shady tactics. 30% tax on transactions is theft. Who does that? Fuck, not even Wester Union i think. One thing is asking 30% of the action while providing services such as world class quality hosting and devices and apps (made by Apple) to access the content. (In our world, that 30% would go to relays, clients and plebs pushing the content (decentralized marketing)), the other thing is to just tax all transactions because it happens on an app that is hosted by Apple, no content hosted by them.
You are right. Most people will continue to live their life oblivious to the reality of Nostr and Bitcoin, like drunken Romans entertained at the colosseum, oblivious to the reality of the FIAT mines. But, (there is always a but either ways) we will attract a few more, we will attract the fighters, the “we had enough of this bullshit” plebs at heart. They are the ones we need for now.

I use iPhone for almost 10 years, and last week i sell my last iPhone and I’m waiting for a Pixel to arrive to de google and run graphene os, but I’m still using one old iPhone i have.
I’m embracing the change because for me is enough, apple will not change because they are compromised.
