Could you expand on this part « without limiting all connections to a single gateway relay the way Primal does »?
Primal has a caching relay that pulls content from across the network and provides it faster to the primal client. I believe they push the events you publish out the all the relays in your list but reads from the one centralized caching relay. I think it’s fine as long as it’s your keys and you can use other apps. Some folks think it’s not in the spirit of Nostr.
