Shouldn't freelancers and service providers link their hourly rates to Bitcoin instead of fiat money? Conversion can always be done to fiat currencies when required. However, the base should be a stable currency like Bitcoin.

Good or bad idea?

It's a great idea

I know some platforms implementing this strategy

You can pay your employee and contractors in crypto.

3 big benefits

1. Many freelancers will save lots of fees

2. No dependency on platforms like upwork or Fiverr who can delete profile any time

3. Long-term stability with recognised currency

And can have lots of features like

Split project payments

Recurring payments

Smart contracts

sats as first displayed & a re/con/-version to a pegged fiat currency
