For example, OP_CTV complements SegWit by enhancing transaction flexibility and smart contract capabilities, building upon SegWit's already improved block space efficiency and transaction batching features.
I wonder, though, if there are any unforeseen exploits, like what Taproot allowed with inscriptions, that could cause bigger problems later. Other than that possibility (which is admittedly pretty much unprovable), CTV sounds like a no-brainer upgrade!
Taproot didnt enable inscriptions. It was always an option.

I thought Taproot at least made inscriptions (and BRC-20 tokens) a lot cheaper, though. 🤔
TBH idk with certainty. Will need to research. I made an attempt to find how BRC20 works technically but the search came back with just tons of marketing BS
