This is a sensible way to migrate your funds, if you're a goldbug. You don't have to rush, like someone saving in Turkish Lira would do.
Start small.
Watch it for a bit (your allocation size will increase eventually, even if you do nothing).
Maybe add more later.
Maybe start a DCA from your fiat bank account.
That's how it starts.
"Invest only what you can afford to lose" turns into "I don't own enough Bitcoin" pretty quickly.
It's just time & knowledge.

Smart move. I did this back when I was a poor resident. Now that worry free sum is worth about double my entire working career up to this point. And it wont be long before than worry free sum is worth more than a doctor could make in a lifetime.
