Yeah. But I don't think he is something extraordinary. He is just doing same thing the politicians before him and after him.

The spiral was already going that way. He for sure contributed strongly, but at the end I don't think there would be big difference without him.
Right, the surprise (surprise! surpriiiiise!!!) was that the "good cop" party didn't stick to the "good cop game" for very long and went strait ahead with the pure big-state socialism policies. It's hard to distinguish who's at the helm at a given period if you look just at what is happening and not at the people running the mafia.
I'm curious if Vera Jourova just follows the general EU bureaucrat group-think or if she really personally pushes this stuff further than some less evil politician would have. In any case, she is apparently enjoying her power over people way too much.
Let's see who will replace her and if things change (I doubt that).
