Having only solar power and encountering cloudy and hot days is not fun.

We need more solar panels so we can run the AC and fill the batteries on days like today 🥵

We are getting a really cool lightning show though so that's fun 😊 at least it's doing something, and the showers of rain have been kinds fun.

Is that really a problem? How big is the difference between full-sun-on and cloudy?

Well, our system is already a little too small. It was 104f two days ago, so we ran the AC too late and was quite low when yesterday it was 102f and partially cloudy so we ran out of at least one battery last night, and then today it was mostly overcast and in the 90s.

Our 4 batteries made it to 80% today. Usually we have crypto mining going all day and we eventually get to 100%, but we shut that down, plus barely ran the AC, and some other things, and still didn't reach 100%.
