Is the future of Bitcoin mining in the United States of America?! 🇺🇸⛏️

It really doesn’t seem like it. Due to politicians and regulators trying to impose their agenda while proposing outrageous taxes and limitations, it’s likely that the miners will move somewhere else where they’re left alone.

Ironically, China has treated miners a lot better for nearly a decade before kicking them out of the country in 2021.

I think Russia is the next big player for mining farms.

Insane territories for insane possibilities. Their climate would be amazing for mining farms

Pretty sure they’re already mining, probably using the Chinese pools.

If the US pass that 30% electricity tax for mining, they essentially push the miners to leave.

Russia is the second largest home to hash rate behind the US and their government is now in a public-private partnership with a mining company in Siberia.

Which pools do Russian miners use?

Not sure about pools, this link is a Russian news outlet that a ton of “crypto” publications (coindesk, btctimes, etc) were citing to after Q1 this year. https://www.kommersant.ru/doc/5915688

Good to create opportunity in ooorer countries. However unintended. Like the Russian sanctions.
