NFTs originally carried the value of permanent inscription - but has been constantly abused in its pump and dump glory. We should want to move away from fictional trade and allow real yield and capital gain to happen if we want Bitcoin to become a currency of global adoption. I’d reckon there’s also size convo behind this.
Speaking abt Assange is important. I wish we are doing more to get him out. I think Bitcoin Magazine can and should be doing so much more in helping out Assange given your market reach. For example :-
- Promote Assange globally through viral campaigns,
- outreach to every journalists globally and popular figures to create impactful talking points,
- reach out to the young generation, the high school and college kids and have their debates on it
- create hype and globalise this movement.
We need actions and global rise for Assange. And I think Bitcoin magazine is in a sweet spot of high volume readers with global consciousness to kick off something meaningful.
I just don’t see how NFT fits into any of this.
