Not everyone can or will drive. And some people live in areas where car ownership is nearly impossible or not even necessary, but occasionally people like this need to get somewhere beyond a short distance and there are not always friends/family available to take them.

Taxis are not the best service, in fact, they're terrible. They're also still fiat.

I thought your criticism of Uber would yield a less fiat driven idea or solution.
