Part of the problem is, Biden was sort of foisted on us. No one disliked him, but no one has ever been a passionate supporter of Joe Biden, either. He’s more like a harmless uncle you forget exists until he shows up to the wedding.
It’s not JUST that Democrats aren’t a cult. It’s that we havent been excited in awhile. We haven’t been given a reason to be excited. We’re just trying not to die.

if you can look at the past three years, and see the huge accomplishments under this presidency, the most progressive successes at least since LBJ and FDR, if not greater, and not be excited about 4 more years of this kind of progress, then you are neither a democrat nor a progressive, and certainly not someone who has a grasp on American politics...
