So, below is a zettlekasten (smart note).

It does nothing in this format (kind 1). Here is what it looks like in #Obsidian. You see that purple 'hyperlink' under "Core Notes"? that links to another note that has a deeper view of what I'm talking about.

If I click that purple link in the note (it's called a back link) I go to a different note I wrote weeks ago about the 'improbability" of carbon.

Now I have backlinks to yet another note and to the places in a book (Hazen-Symphony in C) that were synthesized to create this note, (the numbers under "Location") and those point to the exact pages in the book where I highlighted passages.

If I click on the number '368' under 'Location' I get to go to the original Kindle location of the highlight I made while reading this book.
