but it's spurred on a side rant😂 The word autistic has lost all meaning to me. My cousin is "autistic" and has the functional capacity of a 4 year old, I'm guessing this girl is not "autistic" in the same way?
If something is a "spectrum" then it loses its utility. Mid wits love to say "he/she is on the spectrum". Of course they are!!! We all are.....that's why it's called a spectrum. It would be impossible to find someone who is 0% autistic.
Sorry, not to diminish this girl's work, which is great by any measure.
yo cody, i couldn't agree more, and my point really was to illustrate the futility of societies labels. I did originally post it with my thoughts on that but decided not to as i thought that in itself detracted from the point, which ultimately should be the quality of her work... but totally agree.
