No, just cutting them up roughly with loppers and hand clippers. Its just for filling in some areas of a bed that are getting a little bare. I had a chipper a long time ago, but we had lots of trouble keeping it running. We do have the option of going to the recycle place in town to get mulch for $5 a truckload, but these limbs needed trimming anyway.
