My dad had me out when I was 5

I did the same for my two sons

North of free Zuma /Ventura county

However, heading south and getting slammed at the wedge was always a good time

Back then no one used a board at the wedge just duck feet

Some say I have a Tom Carroll style but I’m not goofy

In Florida I used to help with the ESA and NSSA competitions at Sebastian etc

My boys where mini grom champs

Epic! That’s awesome:) I’ve never surfed the wedge but I would to sometime, I’ve surfed most of the main spots around San Clemente and Santa Cruz though. You want to go to Indi with me?

I’ll be there in spirit, my days of hard charging and elevator drops are past

A chill sandy bottom break chest high maybe are my speed now

Who knows though , i would surf early early morning glass in Florida and a couple of guys at the same break where in there 70’s

Just gotta keep healthy
