My point is whenever someone makes some big swiping claim about "Bitcoin is _______" - it can often be misguided or outright wrong. As someone who does education and pro-bono consulting, I've worked with people who bought at ATH or who were scammed or who ended up paying really high fees etc etc.

For them, the BIG CLAIM just isn't true.

Bitcoin as a network has some interesting principles and attributes and can be used for a lot of good, SOV, Humanitarian Aid etc... but it's not all rainbows and lambos.
