It didn't have Kirk. The Cage was repurposed as the later episode The Menagerie. And the Pike character is currently in Strange New Worlds (which I haven't watched, but people had good things to say about, it seems).

I watched a bit of Discovery. It was the worst Star Trek I've ever seen. It felt like a bad parody to me. TNG is still the best for me.
I loved the special effects of it. They made it seems hyperrealistic... wasnt too happy with some other stuff though in it as well but I held on... me I am next generation fan. I like my old Picard... ๐โจ๏ธ๐

Yeah I know Season 3 he's all about wanting to confess his love to Nurse Chapel & I just get fickled every time they do this shit in a show. Shes got feelings too she knows it & shes okay with fooling around too but oh idk if we should be together like that. I don't deal well with complications, we need to be apart as people that flip flop personality it's okay to fuck but god forbid we establish commitment to each other. Then of course we get the saying it without saying it.
You know what I mean i'll be gone for 3 months don't wait for me spock. Like she don't say it but she makes it clear shes gunna probably go fool with other guys. Lots of shows do that shit it's fucked up.
