Anybody else considering just outright stopping withholding money from your paychecks?

Seems ridiculous at this point

Is this possible? Or are you talking about withholding extra than the normal amount the govt steals

It is possible. You can adjust your withholdings through your employer and can have the employer without zero and send zero to the gov. This can give you agency to do what you want with your paycheck and then choose to pay taxes when you need to if you come to that conclusion

Watching the Soviet system collapes as a US Army retiree, I seen how the russian military retirees went 2 yrs without their benifits. I am prepare for the disruption. Praying it is faster transition.

You could theoretically be better off if you do this and put that money to work in the market throughout the year.

Yes! I live on a Bitcoin standard, so at a minimum I am just taking that money that would be withheld and instead be keeping it in bitcoin. Then, if I so choose, I sell a portion of it to pay my taxes. But this gives me agency to actually pay my taxes if I want

Obviously requires enough wisdom to have sats stashed for taxes if you pay them, but still
