I don't even do anything illegal or have much xmr, but the feeling of even a few dollars worth in #monero that you can do anything with permissionlessly is very unique. It has a taste. It taste sweet. It's different than the feeling a public ledger like bitcoin has.

You can order online, support a content creator or emergency relief, pay for a phone bill without having to trust custody wallets, fuck around with nodes, Give your details, name, date of birth, house address to a stranger or fill out a form for some random checkout cart online, no etherum slippage or gas bullshit, no orphan sats in a LN wallet, or channel opening and closing shite.

Just run monero, mine if you want to support the network, and use it when you need to. End of story.
