testing GIF quality compared to mp4 ...... looks like void.cat converts GIF to .webp in any case ..... GIF is really a terrible format, limited to 256 colors and any kinds of gradients massively blow out filesizes. .....

It looks much better on a smart phone running Amethyst.

I couldn't get the video to load (probably not you or the vid by the way).
