Started reading Nik Bhatia’s book “The Bitcoin Age”

Great start

In particular loving the history of cryptography, protocol development, and how the internet has been built

It really hammers home how important it is that Nostr is a protocol

This is a big deal

Likely far bigger than any of us realise

Big brain energy 🔥 Understanding the foundation is how you see the real Bitcoin moon 🚀

Nik's books are why I decided it was time to finish the like, 5 books I'm in the middle of, because I really can't justify starting another one before getting through them. But I did finally finish Mastering Bitcoin and am making good headway in Bushido of Bitcoin, as well as knocking down Against the Gods (which I've been in the middle of since 2020), and should hopefully plow through Perry Mehrling's Fischer Black and the Revolutionary Idea of Finance. Probably not bothering to finish Zero History as I don't think I much have the patience for William Gibson anymore, especially seeing what a gross lib he's been on ye olde twitter. Too many better books to get to.

As for Programming Bitcoin...that one I get to when I get to; gotta be in the right head state to follow along with it.

It’s so healthy to read a lot. I do my best

One hack: don’t beat yourself up if a book is boring and you don’t get through it. Just start another!

Anything more than 30 books per year and you’re doing well I reckon
