Agreed, total culture shift to have to pay for something but it's a good price to pay for freedom of speech.
I think some clients may choose advertising as part of their model and I think if users have a choice that isn't a terrible idea either.
That is a great point.
It just dawned on me, that ad supported clients might highlight the value of paying for non ad clients.
