New #meshtastic solar node deployed this morning. On the side of a hill so doesn’t have good coverage behind it but has clear line of sight in front of it and can directly reach other nodes in the CBD and hills that are about 20km away.

I have a couple at home I’m planning to set one up in the attic. It won’t have LOS though.

I know that one of the nodes I can connect to from this one is sitting in the window of an apartment in the CBD and I don’t think has perfect LOS but it does help. It will probably depends on how far any other nodes are from you.
