Holy god you are singing my song. Currently plotting a career pivot and taking initial steps. Need to get off the high jump altogether.
I am very proud of what I’ve accomplished in the past 20yrs, and it’s part of my identity, but
it’s just no longer fulfilling.
What is it about humans that we must be progressing forward to find fulfillment?
You haven't yet awakened from the dream of separation. That's it. Do that instead.
That's actually fairly common. Check out this book called Range by David Epstein. It explains how the most successful people tend to have the most winding, convoluted career paths, often finding success much later in life after gaining experience in a wide variety of fields.
