Travel day one:

Up at 6am Calgary time, to the airport by 8ish, in the air by 11. Four hours to Montreal, 3hr layover, another 8 hours to Rome.

Kids traveled like absolute champs (especially Aria who will have been to 10 countries by her 6th birthday this year!) Even Ezra who is 2 did incredibly well.

We landed, got a car to our place in Rome, took a multi hour nap, then did a bit of walking in our immediate area, followed by a meal at a nice restaurant down the road.

We're only in Rome briefly to get our bearings, but we have a day to see some stuff tomorrow before heading off to Amalfi.
