Anyone have any thoughts around this list my family if putting together for "Family Purpose"?
1. Glorify God
2. Be Generous
3. Do Good
4. Do your Best
If you followed this as your life mission and purpose what is missing? What would you include as bullets 5 and 6. #asknostr

I would add specificity to number 1.
What does glorifying God actually look like?
I think you'll find that the list you're compiling is a list that points your family in the direction of glorifying God, which makes item 1 superfluous.
Perhaps the list should be called "This family glorifies God by:"
Good feed back! I wanted to ensure God was in there because you can do the other three but if you don't have the first your eternity can still not be desirable. We've to talked about what Glorifying God means and what a proper relationship with God is. They are kids so easing into it. More just trying to provide something they can remember if they don't stop and listen to that small voice. And it took me a lot of years to distill it down to this sonof I can speed it up for them all the better.
Maybe add or replace 3 with ‘what you do matters’. Most people that do 1 and 2 will tend to do 3. But we all need to hear and encourage each other with purpose.
