its enabled and ive set the user but it doesn't seem to generate a .well-known for the address

Under the Pay Links extension have you created usernames there?
To clarify...
Manage / Users : individual accounts that can have multiple wallets
Extensions / Pay Links : individual lnurlp configurations that can be mapped to wallets that are associated with users.
Its the pay links that let you set username in the /.well-known/lnurlp/{username} and you set allowable amiunts, enable comments (by character max), any webhooks for payment completion, and nostr zap support
Yeah in the Pay Links extension I created patrick with amounts of 1sat - 1btc and nostr support
It doesn't create any of the .well-known links needed. It creates the lnurl but doesn't handle any of the lightning address side tho it says it created it. I'm wondering if I failed to set something else up that was needed. I thought it went pretty seamless last time i tried setting up lnbits so not sure what i missed here.
I know it's reserving it at the server level somewhere because i created a second lnbits account and tried to create another pay link using the patrick identifier but it wouldn't allow it.
Just to be sure you don't need to do anything on the backend to get lightning addresses to work that I'm forgetting other than have 'Pay Links' installed and setup?
Ok it seems like I'm not alone. https://github.com/lnbits/lnurlp/issues/36
