Three hours after my workout there's some muscles under my tummy that I didn't know existed, letting me know they exist and they don't seem particularly happy about it. Send help π₯²π«

Take it easy and don't overstrain yourself. What kind of workouts are you trying?
I did a warm up then a 15 minute tabata arm and tummy flab workout. I tend to overdo things. It didn't feel this bad at the time...
It never does. π«
If I were getting into working out from scratch, I'd do 10 push ups, sit ups, and squats every day along with the yoga course in Light on Yoga. I have a pdf, but the physical copy is much better.
Now that I've written this out, when my PT is over and I can do light exercise, I think this is actually what I'll do for a while, along with jogging and doing American Kempo forms and techniques at zero intensity.

I can't do push ups... My shoulders are most affected by fibromyalgia. I used to do very gentle ones against walls and often ended up in bed for days in too much pain to move. Scrubbing motions and even writing more than a few lines can have the same effect. I presume it happens when I use fine motor skills or put pressure on my shoulders. I tried this this morning and I'll find out if moving my shoulders is okay by tomorrow I guess. So far I'm not enjoying life.
