yes but you can ask a nation to get rid of tariffs on the USA but they won't. Can either get slapped around or take a stand. I agree there should be no tariffs across the board but we can't force others to these standards unfortunately.

Nobody will win this battle, even Bitcoin's price will suffer. World trade will suffer. Americans and Canadians and Mexicans and Chinese will suffer. America started the fight by punching themselves in the face, and then Canada and Mexico follow suit. All wars are dumb but this is a very very dumb war.

Could americans or the american economy live without those products? If yes, then bad for Canada and Mexico if not then just sit and wait until those products are much needed again. Sure it would be a hard time, but maybe worth it.
