💭 The trade war is on 🍿🍿 China currently is at at 54% tariffs and they can’t subsidize it for more than a few months , they need to take major measures like printing money ( which they don’t ) , devaluing their currency ( cause a massive capital flight and spook their foreign investors as well as trade partners ) they are completely cornered by the look of it

Who do you think is going to flinch first ?

I wish the US prepared their citizens more on what’s to come from the short term economic blowback . There is barely any communication with business owners and citizens and no plans for economical cushions in sight . The only logical assumption I can think of that they didn’t is they may be thinking this trade war will be won in no time
