Hi there. You're statement is absolutely correct. Although,it was rhetorical, I will respond and say this. Most of the posts actually mention directly the author or are stock photos that it really is not that important to know the background about the person taking the photo. Some posts may not have that information however,so in order for it not to be misconstrued that I wrote the piece or took the photo myself,I have added that to the post. If you want to research any missing information yourself then feel free to do that.
