I was doing that for a long time. Years of 100 -120 push-ups a day. Had to balance it over time because I was putting a lot of strain on my shoulders by not giving them a days break, unlike your wise decision to add a rest day lol. I used to think the body should be punished....😑😑
Oh I’m adding them onto my rest days. So the weekend are rest days. And on weekdays I do weight training + cycling. Some push-ups are already included in my weight training. I’m doing the 100 push-ups a day until bitcoin reaches 100k with a bunch of other people here.
