Crazy that my public bitcoin node at my office is one of only two in Adelaide. I’m sure there could be more that are hidden by tor and/or only outbound connections. But still blows my mind. How long until running a bitcoin node becomes the norm for everyone around the world?

I don't think running a node will ever be the norm. It doesn't really need to be. Tens of thousands is more than sufficient I think. Obviously the more the better and we should get that number as high as we possibly can. We need more satellite nodes imo.
Yes more satellite and mesh nodes ftw 🙌
Where did you go to check that?
I looked at that site recently. I can’t seem to get past all the pop ups for some reason.
Ah weird, looks like the data can be hit and miss. Just yesterday it only showed 2 (with mine included). Now it shows 7 total lol
I’m sure nostr:nprofile1qqs0zuj4s6jq9sr2ajqc69rc53d25rwpd3afcjrfm97r2qek69hcuscpr4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt4w35ku7thv9kxcet59e3k7mf0qy2hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytn00p68ytnyv4mz7jz4n9z isn’t the only other one there..
Haha yea I think the site might be a little unreliable on figures and it constantly fluctuates
