Zach, what drives you to work so hard?
Wanting to make a better life and world for my child.
What drove you before you had a family🤔 Sorry if it’s too intimate, just curious on what drives people to work so hard, because it feels like I’m lacking in some department
Not too intimate at all, it is a good question. I have always had high motor but have not always focused it in an area that fulfilled me. When misdirected or ignored I find myself getting moody or antsy.
For me it mostly comes back to creating and building. I have to have an outlet - music, woodworking, business development - where I can recharge my batteries and challenge myself.
#[2] I am not sure if that answered your question, so to add some context: I find I am able to work hard and stay focused if I am actively engaged with a creative outlet in my spare time away from work. If I neglect that creative pursuit I end up getting burned out and I’m unable to keep working hard.
Also, go easy on yourself. Life is full of seasons. We can enjoy both the hard work and the R&R periods.
Nothing really excites me anymore in the long term, and I’m not sure if that’s because of my world views, or is it something additional to worry about
I heard once someone saying; if you have a purpose in your heart that’s way larger than you, you’ll always have enough passion to keep going. Start from there, start with a dream ✨ there r a lot to do to help make this world a better place for us & future generations. It starts within each one of us 💛
