Not really. We don't really have decentralized mapping working yet, so at best it would be experimental or rely on Google Maps or something

It's better in Europe than North America, due to the Euros selectively caring about freedom (deserved dunk, lol), but if enough people cared it could change for the better here.

As it stands, I'm currently cycling between both while I'm still using Googledroid; when I go over to Graphene fully, OSM (either through Organic or OsmAnd, haven't decided since the latter crashed a lot the last time I used it) will likely take precedence, with GMaps being used as strictly necessary.

I just use Google maps, but I used to contribute data to Google maps to fix errors and stuff, contribute reviews, etc.

Stopped doing that long ago and now I try to poison the well by leaving shitty reviews everywhere

Will contribute map data and reviews and stuff again when there's a decentralized network to do it on
