How to tell apart fake images of people:
- always something weird going on with hands
- inconsistent eye pupils
- lacking detail on closeup objects like jewelry.
- background objects make no sense and have no reason to be there
- distorted faces of people in the background (image generators have a hard time handling multiple subjects)
I see so many AI profile pics lately of real people. But they still look fake, too perfect. π€

Yeah most are obviously fake but some are getting good enough to fool people. Already see a few on nostr.
If you pay attention to the details itβs easy to see which ones are fake.

Thereβs always a tiny chance that Iβm wrong and I donβt want to be the asshole that offends the person. Little gained from finger pointing. I see a fake, I acknowledge it and move on.
