This is important.. narrative ( as well as education) should move away from #bitcoin to #sats ..
Talking in #bitcoin is explaing #gold to normies in ten kilo units .. people get better perspective of gold when you talk in grams and mili grams
Add BIP: Define Bitcoin Subunits as Satoshis
Does this need a BIP? No. No it doesn't. Neither does BIP-177's proposal
https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/pull/1841/files
I guarantee this has more support though. Boost it to ruffle them feathers.
The real motivation is to show how ridiculous BIP-176/177 actually are.

I prefer fractions of troy ounces tbh... Have you seen holdbacks? They're pretty cool.
In the grand scheme of things
1 #sat = .1 miligram of gold ( around 2034 )
1 bitcoin = 10 kilos of gold
Cuz
21 million btc = 210 million kilos of gold ( the final supply threshold )
A #goldback is still delaing with ounces .. which doesn't fit well into global metric system..
Besides ..neither sats nor goldback will ever be used as a currency .. they are the apex assets ..
Sats will definitely be used as currency. They already are. Gold can't be sent instantly across the globe. Sats can.
Insiders of a network always use the token for exchange of goods .. goldsmiths all around the world use gold to trade just the way bitcoiners use sats ..
You got to be a BITCOINER first to buy coffee from another bitcoiner :-)
People keep forgetting that " network is the asset " .. currency must NOT be an asset ! #nixonInsight
