NEW: Sygnia’s investigation into the Bybit hack found that the theft was enabled by malicious JavaScript injected into Safe Wallet’s AWS S3 bucket, altering transactions, not a breach of Bybit’s own infrastructure.
The irony of the hack coming from hacking something called Safe Wallet is priceless.
