because you still live in a primarily fiat system, and in an emergency you would need fiat.
Society has conditioned us that way. Plus, life is complicated, you got bills to pay, emergency fund, etc. Don’t beat yourself up. Be smart and do your beat to save what you can in hard money. But don’t make it a dogma thing otherwise you might cause unnecessary pain for yourself. My thoughts on the matter.
